Calles de Madrid: hacia otras formas de vida

Andas por las calles (2014-2017) de una Madrid asolada por los “ajustes estructurales” del programa neoliberal.  La gente se organiza y responde a la brutal velocidad de la destrucción de sus derechos sociales ganados.  En las calles quedan inscritas, con ironía, creatividad e inteligencia, signos de algunas luchas continuadas contra el saqueo.

Intensidad y deseo: un encuentro con COST y ENX en las paredes de Manhattan

Ubicuas, unas imágenes proliferan por todo Manhattan con un ritmo propio: posters en blanco y negro colocados bien arriba: sobre paredes de ladrillo, sobre metal, sobre vidrio: tipografía de COST y  las damas en kimono, los lobos y otros animales de su compañera de calles ENX. Deseos urbanos en común: cortar un stencil / escribir / imprimirlo / subir bien arriba / subir los brazos, pegarlo / andar por las calles / encontrarse con los posters / subir la cabeza, los ojos / tomar una foto.

Intensity and Desire: Encountering COST and ENX in Manhattan

Ubiquitous, these images proliferate all over Manhattan, with a rhythm of their own: black and white posters pasted up high: on brick walls, on glass, on metal: block letters by COST and kimono ladies, wolves, and other animals by his street partner ENX. Urban desires in common: to cut a stencil / to write / to print it / to go up high / to raise your arms, to paste / to walk in the streets / to run into the posters / to raise your head, your eyes / to take a picture.

Walls of Lavapiés: Graffiti Against Gender Violence

Encounters with a graffiti series as you walk you in Lavapiés this afternoon: graffiti written in purple on the walls on calle Embajadores. You have to stop and read: the first name of a woman and the initials of her last names, gender violence as the motive for her murder, the date and place of the murder. You move on, stop again, read again. You retrace your steps and read again.  There is a pattern in this series: two women were murdered in a single day in different locations: María del Carmen and Yolanda on August 2, 2014,
