I left home early for work some weeks ago, looking forward to a long walk before my morning class. I got off at Tetuán metro station and started walking down Bravo Murillo toward Cuatro Caminos. As it was well before 9 a.m., the stores were still closed and their metal shutters full of surprises: graffiti, tags, street art, the languages of the streets. It was colorful and it went a bit like this:
